Great location for exploring the stunning coastline of County Donegal. The room was clean and met our expectations. The ambience in the bar was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The shower in the room was excellent, and we appreciated the modern and clean design. The pub is pet-friendly, which was a bonus for us.
The food was a bit disappointing, with the chips lacking flavor and the featherbed steak causing an upset stomach. The lack of a television in the room was unexpected, and there didn't seem to be a common area with a TV either.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially for non EU nationals like us. The rooms, which are like cozy cabins, were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, and the food at the restaurant was amazing. The homemade bread at breakfast was the best we've had during our entire stay. The bar area with the lovely fire was a welcome sight after a day in the rain. a great experience.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay at Rusty Mackerel Villa. The rooms were modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. Despite the small size, they were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The staff, especially Linda and Siobhan, were kind and accommodating, making our stay pleasant. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the stunning Sliabh League cliffs. The pub atmosphere was charming, and the food was superb, both in the restaurant and at breakfast. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the lack of windows in the rooms and no TV, overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The staff at this place were amazing, especially one guy who really knew his whiskey. the food was delicious and the location was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Plus, being just a few minutes away from the stunning Sliabh Liag cliffs made it even better!
The room was a little stuffy with no windows and the aircon not working, which was a bit disappointing. the fire alarm went off in the morning, but the staff didn't communicate why it happened.
